CROW

The Centre for Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) is a registered non-profit and leading wildlife rehabilitation centre based in Durban, South Africa. Dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of orphaned, injured and displaced wildlife, CROW has been at the forefront of conservation efforts for over 45 years. With a passionate team of staff and volunteers, CROW provides expert care to over 3000 wild animals annually.

As one of South Africa’s longest-running wildlife rescue organizations, CROW is committed to promoting the preservation of the country’s rich biodiversity. The centre specializes in the rehabilitation of various species, including vervet monkeys, birds of prey, antelope, marine birds and small carnivores. Through its well-structured rehabilitation programs, CROW ensures that each animal receives the necessary medical care and rehabilitation before being released back into its natural habitat.

CROW also runs various community outreach and educational initiatives aimed at fostering a deeper understanding of wildlife conservation. By engaging with schools, corporate partners, and the public, CROW raises awareness about the importance of protecting wildlife and their natural environments.
